A very lively panel of students from 6th-12th grade, including student-author Nikhil Goyal, talk about why connected educators are so important. Most of the action is in chat between students & educators, with the moderator scrambling to keep up!

Connected Ed & Badges

Panelists Richard Culatta (of the Dept of ED), Lisa Dawley, Mozilla's Erin Knight, and others discuss criteria for a new series of badges for connected educators and communities--get the chat transcript and PPT slides here.

Systems Conveners

The father of online communities of practice, Etienne Wenger-Trayner, headed an all-star panel discussing system conveners--get the recording here!

The Sessions

We began the month as individuals.  400+ events and activities later together, we’re ending as a community, moving forward.  CEM’s final sessions will be a series of open discussions, assisted by a who’s who of thought leaders in education, on key issues, opportunities for us all to share what we’ve learned and generate key takeaways and action items from the month as we fully head into the 2012-13 school year.  They are your chance to make your voice heard at the highest levels and to celebrate CEM one more time with everyone you’ve come to know in the last 30 days.
